As a former expat myself, I know what it feels like to buy or sell a home in a foreign city. That is why I founded Canal City Realty: a real estate agency specifically designed for people who want an agent that knows the entire process like the back of his hand, and has all the right connections to ensure smooth sailing, even when the seas get rough.

After years abroad, where I worked for a multinational in Paris and negotiated daily with clients all over the world, I returned to Amsterdam. Here, my passion for real estate blossomed. For over thirteen years, I have been guiding people through the buying and selling of homes, particularly in the higher-end segment. I have worked in the most beautiful locations – from the canals and the Jordaan to Oud-West, Zuid and Het Gooi – and have helped many expats and successful entrepreneurs who, just like you, were looking for a place to truly feel at home.

That experience, combined with my international background, makes me unique. English is my second mother tongue, and I learned to speak fluent French while in Paris. I studied psychology extensively, devoured books on negotiation, marketing, and communication, and am active with Toastmasters to keep my presentation skills sharp. But above all: I understand what you need. Transparency. Trust. And someone who speaks your language – literally and figuratively.
